Monday night we won an Silver Award at The One Show in NYC! Bradford just got back this morning with one of the silver pencil… my comes in next week : ) I’ve never heard of The One Show, because I’m a newibee but this is a global competition we went up against large design agencies especially out of Japan, which they won most of the awards. They just so awesome like that but only 30 pencils were given.

Since working for BLDG, I don’t like any of website designs I did before working here, (they started to look the same) and when I was asked to redesign a website, that I have design two years ago, I got excited to get started. So here’s the homepage for the San Antonio Baptist Association.

My first album package… It wasn’t what we first proposed, they dropped a lot of the illustrations I created but I’m still happy with the end result.

Here’s a sneak preview of the front and the back to the CD Booklet I designed and illustrated. This has been a great project to work on, it gave me a chance to break free and go crazy. I’m excited to see it printed.

Here’s a trade booth I design at work. It was very last minute, we only had a few days to work on it. On the last night we pulled a 14 hour shift. There only one mistake that printer messed up on but other than that it came out great. It was the best booth at the convention.

I designed environmental graphics for Fuse Fitness at work and I’m please on how it turned out. Here’s a sneak peek. It was a long process, late nights, but it taught me to design for 3 dimensions. Here’s some advice I can give… mock up your designs in photoshop with real pictures (which is more work). But it really helps to see you designs dropped into a real life environment.
